First Assist 23rd Birthday
Today is First Assist's 23rd birthday. First Assist has been a healthcare staffing leader since 1986. Mary Richardson, an Operating Room Nurse, founded First Assist in the Washington, DC area after noticing a critical need for supplemental operating room staff. As the healthcare market changed, First Assist expanded its business throughout the U.S. to include all specialties of medical personnel by offering per diem, contract, travel, temp to perm and career staffing options.
